bringing pets to your session

Millie Dee Photography Studio is a pet friendly environment. Okay, maybe not snakes? I may catch a bad rap for that, but We love to see the pets coming to the studio, we’ve had all dogs so far, we were close to having some cats, but parents were traveling a bit far for their newborn portraits and decided against it.

There are certain things in life that I feel are guaranteed to put a smile on someone’s face, they are babies, balloons, rainbows and pets. It’s also my personal belief that dogs are actually angels put here on Earth for us humans. Do you agree?

They are loveable and loved very much and many times, they’re a first ‘baby’ of sorts. Having a baby entering your life is a big change for parents, siblings and also for pets, too. We’ll have some questions for families to make sure we can handle their dog and the dog can handle being in the studio. One benefit of our studio is that we’re located across from a park with a walking path that many a dog walk with their humans.

These two are destined to become besties. We will incorporate them in your family portraits, too, just like we did here.

I had an added bonus in this session, as my daughter worked as my assistant here. She’s a teen and when I asked her if she’d like to help me, she jumped at the chance. I was honestly surprised because she likes sleeping late during the summer months, but she did it, she got up and was a huge help during the entire session.

Everyone on our team here at Millie Dee Photography in Morris County, NJ are pet people and we understand just how much they’re loved and a part of the family. We encourage you to ask and see if it’ll be a good fit.
